Why the iPad sucks
I am definitely an Apple Fanboy. I have an iPod, iPhone 3Gs, two Macbook Pro‘s, a Macbook Air, 2 Mac Mini‘s, and gobs of accessories.
I also have an iPad. And you know what? I basically never use the iPad.
See why not after the break…
My iPhone does everything (and more) that the iPad does. Because I don’t have the wireless version of the iPad. My Macbook air is almost instant-on (because I have the SSD version), and the screen is bigger than the iPad and the keyboard is much easier to type on. And the Mini’s are hooked up to my TVs for when I want to watch video on a larger screen.
So, I just don’t get the iPad. At least not for me.
However, I have a friend who has a desktop PC and she turns it on and off everytime she uses it. It runs XP, takes fricken forever to boot, and then it’s succeptible to viruses and malware. And her laptop blows – it’s heavy. So for her – the iPad would be an awesome boon!
That’s the way I see it!
