If you’re here - you’ve made it to a place that will help you understand a little about how this site is organized, and how to find things a little easier.

This site is designed to give the folks who work for GenX a place to write stories and anecdotes about the equipment, houses and people they encounter in their business. We figure this might be interesting to some folks because we work with a lot of interesting consumer electronics equipment, and occasionally get to work with some interesting, famous folks. We work on bringing order to their chaotic digital worlds - by introducing clients to new and functional gadgets and technologies.

Obviously, the home page is where the most recent stories are posted, but the stories all have categories assigned to them. The current categories are:

General Chatter
Gadgets
Clients
Alternative Digital

When we post stories about specific gadgets and technology we’ve actually run across - we’ll file it in the Gadgets section.

If we have random musings about something we’ve read or seen (but not actually played with) - we’ll slip it into the General Chatter category.

Since we have some interesting high-end clients who may provide us with food for thought, when we do - we’ll pile those anecdotes into the Clients area.

And finally - Alternative Digital. Because we use so many high-end toys in our work lives - but we’re not the multi-millionaires our clients are, we often seek ways to improve our own lives at more traditional cost levels. For those contemplations - we’ll file in this area to the benefit of the common household income reader everywhere.
